The ADNEC Group company initiative IDEX LLC or International Defence Exhibition and Conference announced that exhibitors have reserved 90% of the exhibition space available for the 2015 edition of IDEX.
According to statement issued by IDEX LLC's Chief Executive Officer, Saleh Al Marzooqi, remarkable interest has been show in 2015's IDEX. Presently, the two decade history of the event has never before witnessed such a high demand as now and this expression of enthusiasm for the showcasing in the upcoming year has qualified IDEX further as the global leader in joint defence exhibition. He further adds that this has made it evident that IDEX's strength as strategic platform to showcase the latest in innovation and technology shaping the current defense industry, is valued highly by exhibitors.
IDEX has continued to evolve with time according to the demands of the industry through unquestionable commitment to excellence and proactive engagement with the stakeholders and this is recognized globally. His belief as an organizer is that the best performance will be seen in IDEX 2015 and with organizers renting 90% of the space so early on, the thinking of the market seems to reflect this as well. The most prospering edition of IDEX in the history of the event is the 2013 version which had taken place in February where 1112 exhibiting companies participated from 59 countries with more than 80,000 visitors. NAVDEX or the Naval Defence Exhibition with double size from its previous edition also ran along with IDEX 2013, hosting just 80 exhibitors.
Continual support to the IDEX event has been rendered unhesitatingly by the Prime Minister, Vice President and Dubai's Ruler, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. But mainly His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President, offers patronage to IDEX. Full on support is also provided by UAE Armed Forces' Deputy Supreme Commander and Abu Dhabi's Crown Prince. ADNEC has organized IDEX 2015 in coordination with Tawazun and GHQ, Armed Forces of UAE. IDEX will held from 22nd February to 26th February 2015 at National Exhibition Centre of Abu Dhabi.
